well, let’s have a look.

most of last week i was ill, like, really ill. so ill i wasn’t in for most of the college week. what is it? really bad flu. yeah, i’m a whiny bitch but i don’t care. haha.

however, saturday i made it to go see leigh. i had to share the train up with my cousin going to see his girlfriend. it was alright though, entertaining at least. we also got the train cheaper too, as we got a duo ticket. that was quite good. anyway, we got to sunderland, and went to leigh’s house for the usual. it was all rather good, and we ate bagels. we also watched (some of) spirited away(distractions haha). it was bloody good. anyway, we eventually went to pick her sister up from work, and the plan was to stay in sunderland so i could catch my train. but it was bloody cold so we went back to leigh’s for an hour, snug in her bed. it was lovely. i went to catch the bus back to sunderland, but there was a crash. so the bus was majorly delayed. and i was going to miss my train.

so the panic began. we rushed back to her house but her parents had had a drink. so we rang up other people with no luck. i couldn’t get in touch with my cousin as his phone battery was dead, so we had to text like 3 people just to get his girlfriends number to phone her to get in touch with him. yeah. in the end, i got a lift to the next stop and made it on the train. just in time! so that was all fun. when we finally got back in redcar, it rained. hard. we got soaking wet on the way home, but i wasn’t allowed to call a taxi. that was pretty gay.

anyway, i had a really great day.

coming soon is the GOLDEN COMPASS. you cannot BELIEVE how much i need to see this film. i’ve been dying for it since i read the book (northern lights) about 5 years ago. we’re going to see it on saturday at newcastle, it’s going to be amazing. or it better be.

i also watched howl’s moving castle over the weekend. studio ghibli films are always brilliant, but this one was the best i’ve seen so far i think.

well, i thought i’d make a post saying i’m getting my haircut in 20 minutes.

maybe i’ll post a picture. i don’t know.

all i do know is that i’m actually quite nervous.

also, battles on jools holland were fantastic. and i finally found out the lyrics to atlas! on battles myspace blog haha. funny stuff.

so my friend james (raff) got signed by a record label! even has a manager in LA and everything waiting for him. but it’s hush hush.

and it’s mine and hen’s 7 month anniversary. love you.

well, not much to report on today really.

i’m definitely going to london on 20th of july. for a few days. that’s going to be hella awesome.

now, let’s talk about myspace. and how much of a bag of shit it is. really. creating a myspace page is essentially signing your life away to the devil; but not in that sense. no, it’s not addicting (though for some whelps it is), it’s just… UGH. you know, you put a picture of yourself up. great. then you look at other peoples pictures. and they think they’re models and edit their pictures. why? why can’t you put a picture up of yourself, naturally? don’t give me this bullshit about feeling better about yourself or making yourself look better, because if you were so insecure in the first place you wouldn’t put the picture up!  no, they do it for the attention. and why do you take them from such stupid angles people? always looking down. you do realise that that position represents a demeaning value to that person right? so by doing that, AND editing it, you’ve just fucked your image well and truly.

or at least i like to think so. sorry, i just don’t like people who LIVE on myspace and constantly edit all their pictures. please, show your natural self once in a while.

well, lots to discuss in here.

firstly, let’s talk about HEN, my lovely wife. she’s currently doing work experience as a vet! she’s having fun, but it’s hard work apparently. and she’s not getting paid for it. she gives animals jabs and stuff, even goes as far as holding them down whilst the vets operate on them. she can’t get online or anything whilst she’s there though, and i miss her :(. however she has a problem which i won’t discuss…

next, jerry falwell died yesterday. you know, the guy who tried to blame 9/11 on HOMOSEXUALS and FEMINISTS. i’m pretty glad he’s dead.

i am recovering! i feel better then i have in days, still not 100% though and very hungry. hen has looked after me though bless her. last night i stay awake because of extreme paranoia (i kept hearing noises and i thought they were spiders). that’s how bad my arachnophobia is, i’m just glad we can’t get camel spiders in this country, or i would probably kill myself :( right now we have a shitload of work to do but we can’t do it, it’s simply impossible really. though we have NOW GOT a title screen (though james wouldn’t let me put dark tranquility on the title screen, so we stuck with porcupine tree - trains).

finally got kurt vonnegut’s “cat’s cradle”. only read 50 pages, but so far it’s pretty good.

so i’m still ill, and since i’ve been ill i’ve been having really strange dreams. one dream i met my girlfriends parents and we had a lol then suddenly we were all naked or something, and then a fire happened and i woke up about then. this dream, however, was a lot more interesting and scary.

so i was at home waiting for someone. i was stood by my window just waiting for someone to come. a car to pull up. i waited and waited, and eventually someone came. it was a car full of my old friends. anyway, we drove all day and eventually made it to some weird hall place, and there, of all people, were DRAGONFORCE. yes, i dreamt i went to a dragonforce concert. how scary is that? there they were, all of them. i even met them apparently, with one of them with an awful giant mouth, and the guitarist and such. anyways, we were waiting for them to play, but i went into some sideroom and there was paris hilton, so i eventually ended up having sex with paris hilton somehow. about this time i woke up in a cold sweat. that was an awful dream.

helen FINALLY got round to uploading SOME of the pictures from saturday, so i might steal a few and put them up. there are some hilarious ones.

in other news, putting the camel spider in your blog gets you views. really, i’ve had over 70 views from people searching camel spider or camel spiders. and the picture i put of the japanese crab spider has over 20 views already! not bad for a days work in my opinion.

i miss hen so much. need to see her soon!

so this post is about how amazing my weekend was. really.

i had booked my tickets earlier in the week, and had them all in hand, and everything ready. at midnight i phoned hen up, both of us were shakey as hell since we’re finally meeting! i decided not to sleep since i probably wouldn’t get up in time for my coach, so with the help of hen’s friend gabbie, we talked most the night and she helped keep me awake. getting ready was awful, because i was so unbelievably tired.

i left my house at like half 5 to make sure i was on time. on the way i phoned hen again, and she kept me company until my train came at half 6. i bought some crisps and some water for the trip. getting on the train to middlesbrough, i nearly fell asleep, but i got lost finding the bus station. eventually i found it, but i double checked by phoning up my grandma to make sure i was at the right one. all jittery, i finally got on my coach at 7:45am to birmingham.

i was joined by some scenes and chavs, but all in all it was quite a nice journey. i tried to hard to sleep, but i kept hitting my head off the window so i couldn’t get any. the scenes gave me a chewitt, which was nice of them.

so eventually, after 4 and a half hours, we made it into birmingham! i was so lost. i rang dom (who i was staying with) to find out how to get to the train station, which was hilarious trying to find. i followed all the signs to new street station, but ended up getting a bit lost. finally, at the pallasades, i bought a ticket (after getting lost AGAIN and not knowing where to buy them), i phoned hen and told her i was on my way. everything is so different in birmingham, it really is. the trains have SKY NEWS in them and they’re ran like trams. i was shitting myself throughout the journey, as i didn’t know when to get off!

i finally made it to lichfield city station, and this was it. hen lived like 10 minutes away. i phoned her up and followed her instructions how to get to her house. it was a really hot day, and i was in a jacket. not the best situation to meet my girlfriend in! walked up the road, and finally found her house. her friend gabbie let me in (which was strange, since it was the first time meeting her too), but i finally met hen! she gave me a cuddle because she couldn’t look at me. i was really shy, and she was talking to gabbie alot, sort of forgetting i was there :( but gabbie soon left and we were fine, like a normal couple. then we had some fun, but i can’t write that on here ;D. it was amazing and hilarious at the same time!

we eventually got to birmingham and had a look around the shops, and had a really nice time. after we went to mcdonalds for something to eat, then dom rang me and i met dom for the first time too! haha, i even stayed at his house. turns out he’d been walking around birmingham for two hours looking for me. sorry dom!

after mcdonalds we took hen to meet her friends in lichfield. when it was time to go, i really didn’t want to leave her, and neither did she. after a long time and lots of complaining by dom, i finally took off to dominic’s. i bought him some cigarettes for being so awful to him, and at doms house we had a really nice time.

the next day, i went back to lichfield, only hen wasn’t ready so i had to walk around lichfield town for an hour or so. i got really lost and THEN i had to find my way to hen’s friend’s house. she was late getting ready too. and on top of that she was horrible to me because my hair was a bit greasy, it really upset me :( but we had a nice day, and took some pictures which i’ll upload later. we found where the coach station was and sat down and talked about my next visit. then i had to leave, and that was upsetting. but yeah, lots of stuff happened but i can’t really write about it. i had an amazing time, and can’t wait to do it again!

so not alot has happened recently, but i am single! any offers? ;D

lately i’ve been reading up on spiders (despite being a severe arachnophobiac) and came across the camel spider. it’s VICIOUS, it eats lizards for christ sake. there’s also the japanese spider crab, which is actually beautiful. i mean, look at it.

it’s a delicacy in japan apparently.
