patent fending.

hey all.

it’s been a mad week. once again i’ve been more drunk than i can handle and smoked more cigarettes than i have lungs for. being the geek that i am however, i went with friends to the halo 3 launch, and i’ve been playing that quite a bit!

i was watching e4, which is like a channel for essential TEENAGERS here in england, and for once they were playing good music! the program was called “like magic numbers? you’ll love this!” but they were playing rilo kiley, bright eyes, tilly and the wall and the flaming lips amongst other things, somehow i can’t see many magic numbers fans liking them but hey, i’m not complaining.

i’m smoking pure filthy cheap cigarettes at the moment, they’re called “raquel’s”. at £2.20 for 20 it seems like a bargain, but they’re really really not. i can feel lung cancer coming on, that’s how bad they are.

oh, by the way, i don’t smoke.

who you are!

i’m now all set. i’ve decided i’m going to go to leeds university, but i’m taking a year out to save up after college! what am i going to do? whatever i can really. can’t wait to be completely honest.

i’m also in love with feist. and yes, i know how mainstream or whatever she is, but i adore 1,2,3,4 which is the only song i’ve heard. i daren’t listen to any other song by her but i might get the album. if i see a good review on a trusted site. the video is also amazing. so good. i’m in love again!

i hate tuesdays. we’re sat here playing games with music. because we’re studying games that have music. somehow i don’t think flash games with music will help. so i’m listening to feist. over and over. desperately want to see her performance on the letterman show, as she had:

“…the all-star indie lineup (broken social scene (feist’s band, of course), grizzly bear, mates of state, the national, and the new pornographers) on backup vocals!”

also, big news! my friend is making me a new site, so teaplusplus will be different very soon! look out for it.

everyone comes to an end, so don’t be afraid to sing.

i was in london this weekend. man, what a time.

okay, so i skipped college friday to get the train to middlesbrough. only i woke up late. so i had to get ready really quickly and get a taxi to the train station. there i met my friend marie who i hadn’t seen in a while. we caught up and taught and exchanged phone numbers. it was her 18th birthday the next day (saturday) so that was a suprise. i made my way to the bus station and set off. there was some really cute girl there, so i sat as close as i could (being the pest i am) but the coach was packed so we were a little way away. i didn’t talk to her until we were at a service stop. first i was spoke to by a jehovah’s witness. she told me about her family and the insults she’s had. being nice i listened and conversed. then i saw the cute girl sat on the grass so i went over and said hi. anyway, we hit it off and after the next stop i sat next to her and entertained her and got to know her. her name’s anna, and she’s awesome. she loves indie and hip hop (which is awesome). she gave me her phone number and myspace, and when in london i hugged her and we parted. there i met craig and we went back to his.

at craigs we played through bioshock (INCREDIBLE GAME) and talked alot. i spoke to the girl in love with me (no names!) on the phone but i realised that i hadn’t brought my phone charger so i was lucked out. we stayed up until like 3 in the morning (i phoned up some canadian for a few minutes which was pretty funny, let me know if you have a CELL phone and want to be phoned next time!) but then we slept.

next morning was paintball day! everyone was great, we could just go up to them and talk to them. and we did. lots. there was nearly a fight between some huge guy who got shot in the back by his team mate, but he cooled down and left soon after. i got some major battle wounds which still hurt. anyway, we went back to craigs after and just had fun. played risk, drank a bit, but i was so tired i fell asleep like midnight. and i was also the subject of many northern jokes.

next day we headed back to the coach station, and i went to starbucks for the first time ever. there, i did it! i joined your stinking coffee club! only i got hot chocolate with cream!

yeah, the 6 hour coach wasn’t fun, then i went home. that was my weekend. it was awesome.

it must be love!

so um, wow. last night was just… wow. right, whole story.

okay, so last week i met this girl. i’m not gonna name her to save her from embarassment. anyway, we’ve been talking lots on the phone since then, and i grew to really like her. like, like like her (haha that reads so badly but oh well). but she had a boyfriend at the time, so yeah. anyway, yesterday she broke up with him. and it turns out that she adores me. like, is in fact in love with me. in a week. she was really shy and we were giggling like school girls all night, all jittery and, as homo as it sounds, with butterflies etc etc. rofl, cheeeeese. but seriously, she’s like, me. my long lost twin or something. identical. it’s actually scary. i already know exactly what she’s thinking and stuff all the time, basically i can read her like a book. it’s awesome. but she lives in like gloucester or something, and after slag features i’m really not interested in another long distance relationship, so we’re basically “more than friends” or something, but nothing will happen and we’re not attached to each other and saving ourselves and shit. just like having a friend who’s in love with you.

on a completely different topic, enya. this wikipedia page is just hilarious. it’s like enya is applying for a dating site or something. i mean:

“Enya is a very private person who tries to keep her personal life apart from her musical career”

Enya loves cats. In an interview published in 1988, when asked about pets, she replied: “I’ve got a cat. I love cats; at one stage I had 12. It was just bliss. They’d all lie around in the sun and then come up and climb around my neck.”[15]

Enya’s favorite classical composer is Sergei Rachmaninoff. Her hobbies include watching romantic black and white films, collecting artwork, reading, and painting.

i mean, wow. such an amazing person, eh?

funk pepper.

wow, i really need to stop saying that i’ll be blogging again then disappear for a while. well, i’m back at college now, so like i can blog whenever, so i will. cool. so the 4 of you who read this still can get your daily fix of me.

lately i’ve been getting drunk. lots. like, every day for the past 4 or so weeks i’ve been drunk. my liver hurts.

today is college day! like, first day of college. and what day is it? 9/11. sort of says something about the college year. which is going to be amazing. all my friends are here from school. me raini and damo were sat eating ham sandwiches today. i’m popular again and i hate it! haha. so many new people to meet and stuff. i actually can’t wait. i’ve already made like 10 new friends today. it’s just going to be a barrel of laughs. but there’s no matty, he failed the course! i can’t believe it. i’m gonna miss the little guy.

my jaw is hurting from diving into bushes last night on the way home from tesco when drunk. i slammed straight into a branch. and also ate frozen crab sticks. i’m going to die.
